changes to orders

if we have already started working on your order, changes cannot be made.

wrong sizes

fairy press ons cannot be held responsible for any incorrect sizes that were given to us in the notes. so please be sure of your sizes when ordering. sizing kits are the perfect way to know your exact size, hence why they are required. replacement nail(s) are available if anything unfortunate happens! we get it, we've all been there :p

are they reusable?

yes! you can file off the glue inside the press ons OR you can purchase an inexpensive e-file to quickly buff off the glue. tabs are easily removal as well and doesn't leave residue to file off - making it the easiest way to keep reusing your sets. feel free to mix n match your sets to change things up!

are they waterproof?

yep! you can wash dishes, shower, swim, wash your hands, etc. though it is recommended to not get your hands/nails wet within the first hour(s) of application. the longer the better, to allow the adhesion to fully bond. some ways to combat this is...
wear gloves when washing dishes
use hand sanitizer
apply right before bed, after completing all your tasks for the day
if you did not get rid of all the air bubbles, water/dirt/oil will find its way to break down the glue/tabs slowly, affecting how long the nails last (until you apply again).

how can i make them last?

as mentioned previously, try not to get them wet within the first hour(s) of application in order to let the glue/tabs bond to the natural nails. it is also recommended that you bring your nail glue/tabs with you when going out, especially if it is almost time for them to come off! just in case.
and it's important to keep in mind that your prep work is essential to a long lasting set. apply properly by following the instructions included in your order. some more tips for a long lasting set:
☆ use nail dehydrator + primer after wiping nails with alcohol or acetone, especially if you have oily nail beds.
☆ buff the inside of the press ons as well as your natural nails
☆ apply a generous amount of glue inside the press ons as well as your natural nails
☆ don't miss applying glue to the tips/free edge of your nails
☆ hold down for 10-30 seconds, all over the nail
☆ make sure you're really pushing back your cuticles and removing any dead cuticles on your nail plate! if not, this can cause lifting
customize the cuticle area to match yours for a more seamless look/fit! file under and not on top to not chip the top coat.

how do i remove them?

soak your nails in warm water for 5-10 minutes and add soap & oil to the water. this can be cuticle oil or any other oils that are safe to use. run your cuticle pusher or natural nails under any areas that may be loosening. it's best to take off your press ons when they're ready to come off! apply extra oil in the loose areas to break down the glue. be extra gentle around the cuticle area and don't damage your natural nails by being too rough. soak longer if needed. keep loosening your nails around the edges until the press ons pop off! then store press ons for more future uses :)
once all the press ons are removed, file off the glue residue on your natural nails and apply cuticle oil if you have some!

what is included in my order?

your magical fairy press ons, as well as a free nail prep kit & instructions! this includes nail glue, nails tabs (1 per set), a cuticle pusher (1 per set), and a nail file. any desired extras must be purchased separately (added to existing order. otherwise, it will be sent through lettermail). one nail glue is enough to last multiple uses.

why is no glue coming out?

if it is your first time using the glue, it must be cut with scissors first (as demonstrated in the application videos). if this is not your first time using the glue, it is likely that the glue hardened and got stuck at the tip. some tweezers or a toothpick could help with this issue!
if you ever need to see how much glue you have left, simply peel back the packaging to check.

i'm tired of the length i chose, can i cut/shape these myself?

absolutely! change things up if you feel like you want to. it's also important to check if the curve aligns well with your cuticles! File the cuticle area if it isn't a perfect fit so they'll be comfortable when you apply them.
please note: filing can compromise the nails as you are filing away the top coat (protective layer). this can result in chipping. it is barely noticeable though! to avoid this, try filing under and not over.

what happens if i don't apply the nails correctly?

please ensure that you are properly pressing down hard enough and avoid having any gaps. like with all health and beauty related products, there are consequences if you do not use the product properly. if moisture seeps in and is trapped for a long period of time, fungus can grow. this is rare but it is still possible! so please make sure you are not trapping any moisture for long periods of time. applying correctly and making sure the nails are firmly on allows you to safely wash your hands, shower, do the dishes, etc.
